SUB 70 x GLG Recap

One of the greatest, unexpected gifts as a result of Good Lion has been the relationships. Last year at the AmFam in Madison I was walking with my family down the 18th fairway; Jason and his wife were walking opposite. I paused, pointed and said “you’re Jason from Sub 70.”

We chatted, exchanged info and he said to reach out if I ever need anything. I warned him that I actually would do so.

Fast forward nearly a year later and my respect for Jason and all that Sub 70 embodies only continues to grow. Their clubs aren’t just beautiful; they’re the result of pure craftsmanship and perform on the course with aplomb. It’s independent golf at its finest. Old school craft meets new school aesthetics and technology. They made custom clubs for Rick Ross. Maybe that’s all you need to know.

This past Saturday was our launch party at The Seventy. People drove in from all over to their most beautiful, welcoming space to celebrate the launch of the Sub 70 x Good Lion wedge. Per usual I was nervous about turnout and how it would go but people showed up and showed out and the love was beyond.

Huge thanks to Jason and fam for their hospitality and generosity and for taking a shot on us. If you are in need of club(s) look no further than Sub 70. They do it better than anyone and they rep the Midwest to boot.
